In addition, his work has been shown in, among others, Galerie 44, Galerie Pictura, Morren Galleries, Maya Wildevuur, Kunstzaal van Heijningen and at the Dutch Portrait Prize.
He was also seen in the well-known television program “Sterren op het Doek” in 2012 and in "the New Vermeer" in 2023.

Besides painting itself, his passion is teaching and he teaches Classical Drawing and Painting Techniques at his own School of Figurative Arts, Atelier Sint Lucas.

In addition to portraits and cats commissioned or otherwise), still lifes and landscapes mainly everyday scenes (genre) are the subject of his oil paintings, watercolors and drawings. Intimacy and the role of light in this are striking features of his approach. His classic illusionistic painting style is closely linked to our rich Dutch tradition.
